Meet your Speech-Language Pathologist

DeAnna is a speech-language pathologist that is licensed by the state of Texas and certified by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorder at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA in 2008. She received her Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders with an Emphasis in Speech- Language Pathology from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM in 2020. Since receiving her degree, DeAnna has worked in a variety of settings including home health, preschools, public schools, skilled nursing and rehab centers, and in-patient rehabilitation centers. Her experience is vast including working with adults and children with a variety of speech and language disorders such as articulation/phonological disorders, language disorders, stuttering and children with autism spectrum disorders. DeAnna’s passion lies in helping early language learners from age 12 months-5 years find their voice. DeAnna believes in patient-centered care and knows the importance of evidenced-based practices.
